Cyndi Lauper recently released her new album Bring Ya To The Brink. Having reinvented herself as a disco diva, Lauper has produced her best album in years and could be on the verge of making a serious comeback. The success of lead single Into The Nightlife is vital if the album is to have any serious legs.

Into The Nightlife is produced by Peer Astrom, Johan Boback and Lauper herself, and is unlike anything that Lauper has recorded before. The pulsating verses suck you in and the euro-pop chorus explodes with glitter as Lauper sings one of the catchiest pop chorus' in recent memory. Unlike Madonna and Kylie's latest offerings, Lauper actually sounds to be having fun and Into The Nightlife is a complete triumph.

We hope that radio gives this track a chance. Had it been recorded by Madonna it would have been number one but as it's Lauper we're not sure that it'll get the attention it deserves. There are many other hits on Bring Ya To The Brink and Into The Nightlife is one of its finest moments.
