It's no secret that Jason Mraz is one of our favourite artists here at Entertainment Focus so it's with joy that we received Mraz's latest single Make It Mine. The song is the opening track from Mraz's latest album We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things and marks a slight change is direction for the singer-songwriter.

Make It Mine, produced by Martin Terefe, provides a funkier edge to Mraz's style and is a surprisingly smooth three minutes of 70s-influenced funk. Vocally Mraz stays away from the quirky delivery he is known for and instead provides a more straightforward vocal. An energetic horn section infuses a bit of jazz into the proceedings and really adds to the overall funk of the track.

This track really highlight's Mraz's versatility as an artist and is a hundred miles away from previous single I'm Yours. We are officially embarking on a campaign to get Mraz's music heard here in the UK as he's an incredible artist and really deserves success on this side of the Atlantic.
