T-Pain (aka Faheem Najm) is famous for his use of auto-tune to give his songs a different sound to anything else currently in the charts. Following hits such as Church and Buy U A Drank and guest appearances with Mariah Carey, Flo Rida and Lil' Mama, T-Pain has marked himself out as a credible songwriter, producer and artist in his own right. Next up is Can't Believe It featuring Lil' Wayne. The track is the lead single from album Thr33 Ringz.

Can't Believe It is a mid-tempo jam featuring T-Pain's trademark use of auto-tune to distort the vocals. At times the robotic-sounding vocals can sound a bit distracting and after using them so much, it'd be refreshing to hear him do something without the aid of auto-tune. Still Can't Believe It is a decent enough song that should ensure another hit. Musically the song has a very smooth beat and a tinkling melody that gently plays second fiddle to the vocals.

We are yet to be convinced that T-Pain is a better artist than he is producer but thus far we've preferred the work he's done with other artists. Maybe Thr33 Ringz will prove his worth but we'll have to wait and see before we can confirm that.
