Just in time for Christmas Sound Stage has released Chris Isaak Christmas. Isaak is best known for his worldwide hit Wicked Game and often wrongly labelled as a one-hit wonder. Over his career Isaak has had remarkable success not only as a musician but as an actor too. Chris Isaak Christmas features 16 songs, a mixture of classic and new Christmas songs, and even throws in Michael Buble, Stevie Nicks and Brian McKnight for added star power.

Chris Isaak Christmas is a refreshing release. Isaak may not be the most well-known male artist in the world, but he puts on a fantastic live show. Over the hour duration of this release, Isaak brings humour, talent and impressive musicianship to the stage. He mixes pop, country and a little bit of blues to give his own take on classics such as Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Let It Snow and White Christmas.Isaak’s own songs fit nicely alongside the traditional classics. Gotta Be Good and Brightest Star are two of the best songs performed here.

Hightlights on the DVD include the Brian McKnight duet Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer featuring Stevie Nicks, Michael Buble and Brian McKnight.

Extras on the disc are limited to a bonus performance of I’ll Be Home For Christmas.
