The Red Piano captures Elton John during his residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The show’s concept was thought up with David LaChapelle and combines Elton’s catalogue of hits with incredible imagery and a lavish set production. Over the show’s 14 tracks, Elton entertains the crowds with some of his best hits and LaChapelle’s visual displays add to the overall effect.

Throughout his career Elton has been well-known for his lavish and OTT tendencies and The Red Piano encapsulates all of that. From the big flashing lights through to the incredible, visually stunning projections, the show’s production values are truly remarkable and provides a platform for Elton to put on his best show yet. Opening with Bennie and the Jets and closing with classic Your Song, Elton wows the crowd and doesn’t falter once throughout the set. Highlights include Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer and an emotive version of Candle In The Wind.

The Red Piano is a beautiful gift package for Elton fans. Cased in a hard book box the set features a live DVD, a live CD and a DVD packed with extras. The live CD features the majority of the live DVD in audio format whilst the bonus DVD features a documentary taking you behind-the-scenes of the tour and you can also watch all of the David LaChapelle films used throughout the concert.
