To tie-in with the release of her brand new album Rejoice, Katherine Jenkins releases a brand new live DVD entitled Katherine In The Park. The DVD was recorded at Margam Park, Swansea and features Jenkins singing 20 tracks interspersed with interviews.

The 20-track setlist is a mixture of songs from Jenkins' back catalogue as well as some songs from her new release Rejoice. Opening with Overture from The Marriage Of Figaro, Jenkins looks beautiful dressed in a flowing white dress. Vocally she's just as impressive live as she is on her records and she positively glows as she sings each note. Operatic group Serendipity are amongst the guests during the show and they sing a truly impressive acapella performance of Organ Fugue.

Highlights from the performance includee Jenkins' take on Shirley Bassey's classic I (Who Have Nothing). The dramatic arrangement and vocal takes Jenkins in a direction she doesn't normally follow. She sounds splendid. She covers the Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman duet Time To Say Goodbye and does the song justice. She finishes the concert with Land Of My Fathers and drapes the Welsh flag around her shoulders.

Extras on the DVD include 3 additional performances taken from Dechrau Canu.

Katherine In The Park is a great addition to anyone's Katherine Jenkins collection. The DVD captures Jenkins at her best and her powerful voice never once loses your interest. Jenkins is a remarkable vocalist and this DVD would be a great stocking-filler this Christmas.
