Jonas Brothers
Jonas Bros. Rule The US

Posted: Friday 22nd August 2008

Jonas Brothers' new album A Little Bit Longer has debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 chart this week selling 525,093 units, making it the third highest debut of 2008.

Rounding out the top ten, are the soundtrack to Camp Rock featuring Jonas Brothers at number eight and Jonas Brothers' eponymous CD at number ten. This marks the first time an artist holds three titles in the top ten in Sound Scan history. The last group to come close was *NSYNC with two albums in the top ten in 1999.

Jonas Brothers' meteoric rise as a pop culture phenomenon has experienced countless US number ones. On iTunes, Jonas Brothers have had six consecutive number one singles; S.O.S., When You Look Me In The Eyes, Burnin' Up, Pushin' Me Away, Tonight, and A Little Bit Longer. The first single from A Little Bit Longer, Burnin' Up, debuted as the number one most added single at Top 40.

In just under a year Jonas Brothers have also won 6 Teen Choice Awards including Choice Summer Song for Burnin' Up, Choice Male Hottie, Choice Music Breakout Group, Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icons, Choice Music Love Song for When You Look Me In The Eyes and Choice Music Single for When You Look Me In The Eyes. They have been nominated for two MTV Music Video Awards for 2008 already, including the most prestigious award, Video of the Year, and for Best Pop Video for Burnin' Up. They are also the youngest band ever to be featured on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

Following the UK premiere of Camp Rock on 10th September, Jonas Brothers will perform a one off London headline show at Hammersmith Apollo on 11th September 2008.

Tickets are priced at £20.00 (subject to booking fee) and are available from 0844 576 5483 or buy online at www.livenation.co.uk
