Beyonce Knowles - singer, dancer, actress, songwriter, producer....is there anything this girl can't do? Well at the moment no. After spending the last 14 years of her life as the lead singer of Destiny's Child, one of the most successful girl groups of all-time, Beyonce and the girls have decided to go their separate ways for the foreseeable future. Ms Knowles has already released her debut solo album Dangeroulsy In Love to rave reviews and huge sales back in 2003. The lead single, Crazy In Love was a classic bonkers R&B tune that is sure to fill any dancefloor for years to come.

Beyonce has become renowned for the way she skits her lyrics in a rather unpredicatable style. If you listen to any of her tracks either solo or with Destiny's Child you'll see what we mean. So far in her solo chapter she has had 6 hit singles in the UK - Crazy In Love, Baby Boy, Me, Myself and I, Naughty Girl, Work It Out and the Jay-Z duet Bonnie and Clyde 03. The success of the album gave Beyonce the opportunity to tour in her own right and put on a fantastic live show to satisfy fans.

Aside from the music Beyonce has had starring roles in Austin Powers: Goldmember and The FIghting Temptations and is due to start filiming Dreamgirls with Usher later in the year. Acting is something that Beyonce has expressed the desire to do more of and with her success already it will probably be pretty easy for her to bag some more roles.

Away from the spotlight Beyonce is dating Hip-hop legend Jay-Z and he couple are rumoured to be engaged - as long as they create tunes as good as they already have done together then we are definitely happy with that! Since announcing the end of Destiny's Child Beyonce has been keen to point out that the other DC members will be guesting on future tracks with her and she has vowed to help them out with their solo projects too. It wouldn't surprise us in a few years if we see Destiny's Child back together for another album and tour.
